One of my biggest pet peeves on actor websites is the lack of credits. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes it’s okay to just link to IMDb so that everyone who visits your website looking for your work can go directly to your IMDb profile and see everything that you’ve done, but there are two problems with that.
#1 - IMDb will not list every single credit you’ve ever done, but you probably already know that. Once you get a dozen of nice, impressive credits, you can probably just let that go, but when you have just one or two credits on IMDb, but you actually worked on 10 projects, then that IMDb page does not look that impressive anymore. That’s why having your own website is a benefit, because you are in charge of what credits should be listed there.
#2 - A lot of actors don’t list their credits on their website, BUT they upload their resume, and of course, they forget what’s on that resume. Is it up to date? Well, I’ll tell you this… I look at many actor websites each and every day and 9 out of 10 times I can tell you: “NO”, it definitely isn’t.
So how do we fix the problem? Simple. We showcase all of your credits, including the ones that are not on your IMDb. Add any credit you want to your website, and add any credit you want to your resume. If we detect a change in your projects we will prompt you about it and offer to add it to your website AND your resume.
