Principal and background casting throughout the USA and Europe
Ms. McNamara holds several degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. After years directing and producing fashion shows and wardrobe styling for major ad campaigns, Barbara switched gears and began her television career casting background actors on the last two seasons of HBO'S Sex and the City.
Barbara opened her own company in 2005 casting background actors and day players in the film The Devil Wears Prada and the NBC show 30 Rock. Since 2011, Barbara has moved into principal casting such projects as We Made this Movie, The Making of the Mob and NASCAR The Rise of American Speed.
